Descendants of Samuel Beebe
Samuel Bebee was born in England in about 1490. His great-great-grandson, Samuel, emigrated to America in 1649, settling in Connecticut, where the next several generations of his branch resided.
Samuel's 7th great-granddaughter, Lovisa Beebe, married Russell Watrous in 1833 in New York state. Their oldest daughter, Martha Jane, married Samuel Hiram Griswold in 1851, and their daughter, Carrie, married Clarence Lucius Griggs in 1880 in Wilton Township.
