She was a native of Springfield, Ga., having lived most of her life in Savannah and had been a resident of Atlanta for the past 1 1/2 years. She was a life-long member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Springfield. She was past Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are four sons, the Rev. Kirk P. Bridgers, Atlanta; Clarence A. Bridgers, Jr., and R. Neal Bridgers, both of Savannah; Robert C. Bridgers, Fernandina Beach, Fl; a sister, Mrs. Edith S. Pevery, Guyton; two brothers, Lt. Col Ret. G. Murl Seckinger, Garden City; one granddaughter, and six grandsons. Funeral 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Church, Springfield. Interment in the church cemetery. Remembrances may be given to Peachtree Road Lutheran Charitable Trust c/o 3686 Peachtree Rd., N.E. Atlanta, Ga. 30319. Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Springfield, in charge."
