2. Gottfried BURKHALTER was born on 14 December 1863 in Hasle Let Kt. Bern, Switzerland.¹ He died on 3 August 1932 at the age of 68 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,2 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Gottfried BURKHALTER and Rosetta BECHER were married on 22 March 1889 in Monroe, Green County, WI.^1,3 in the German Evangelical Church. Rosetta BECHER, daughter of Gottlieb BECHER and Elisabeth HALLERMAN, was born on 7 August 1864 in Amt. Konolfingen Kt. Bern, Switzerland.¹ She emigrated in 1889 from Germany.¹ She died on 26 July 1949 at the age of 84 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ Rosetta was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,2 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
