Robert BURKHALTER and Minna Clara "Minnie" GRUEN were married about 1923.^1,7,8 They^{^1,7,8} were divorced.⁹ Minna Clara "Minnie" GRUEN, daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm "William" GRUEN and Auguste LIERSCH, was born on 1 October 1892 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^7,9 She appeared in the census in 1930 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She died on 11 January 1989 at the age of 96 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ Minna was buried in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ in the Mount Vernon-Jacksonville Cemetery.
