4. Mary Bridget "Callie" CASSITY was born on 31 May 1881 in Valley Junction, Byron Township, Monroe County, WI.4,5,6,39 She was listed as "Mary Cassidy" in the 1920 and 1930 Census. (She may have been born 31 May 1882.)

. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Winfield Township, Sauk County, WI.4,6,19,39 She was a "Servant" in the household of John Woodleigh. Her occupation was listed as "Housekeeper."

She could not be located anywhere in the U.S. in the 1910 Census. According to her niece, Rose Street Wheeler, she moved to Minnesota or the Dakotas as a young lady, and never maintained contact with her family.

Rose believes that Callie never married, but the research of Marlyce Jones indicates that she was married briefly and had a son. (Gary Griggs' Notes: The 1920 and 1930 Census records in Minnesota indicate that she had two sons, Robert and Ernest.)

. She appeared in the census in 1920 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN.6 She was a "Lodger" at 525 5th Street. She was "Single" and her occupation was listed as "Housekeeper, Farm." Her son Robert was living with her.
Callie appeared in the census in 1930 in Cosmos, Meeker County, MN.39,40 She was listed as "Single" and a "Servant, Private Family" in the household of Earnest Lietzau. Her son "Earnest," age 5, was living with her. Her other son, Robert, was living with her brother Tom in Adams, WI. She died on 3 January 1948 at the age of 66 in Cosmos, Meeker County, MN.5,10,19,41

Ernest CASSITY was born about 1925 in Minnesota.39 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Cosmos, Meeker County, MN.39

Mary Bridget "Callie" CASSITY and (Unknown) CARSON were married before 1920.5,6 The 1920 Census for Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN, contains the listing for Louis W. Carson, age 34, born in Wisconsin, and "Divorced." He was a "Lodger" in a household on Washington Avenue South, and his occupation was listed as "Revenue Man, Federal Gov." The census record of Callie's son Robert indicates that his father was born in Wisconsin, so Louis may have been his birth father. (Unknown) CARSON was born in Wisconsin.40 (The 1930 Census for his son Robert listed his father's birth place as Wisconsin.)
