67. Raymond LeRoy CRAWFORD was born on 21 November 1946 in Mauston, Juneau County, WI.⁵⁰ He died on 5 November 2012 at the age of 65 in Camp Douglas, Cutler Township, Juneau County, WI.⁵⁰

Obituary Notes: "Raymond LeRoy Crawford, 65, of Camp Douglas, Wis., passed away Monday, Nov. 05, 2012. He was born Nov. 21, 1946, to Roland and Gertrude (Waltemath) Crawford in Mauston, Wis. Following high school he served in the United States Navy Seabees and later in the Army National Guard.

Ray was united in marriage to Linda Richards Aug. 20, 1967, in Beloit, Wis. He spent a few years self-employed and then worked at Toro for five years. Ray started a 21-year career at Fort McCoy as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 2002 as supervisor. Ray also harvested cranberries for his entire life. He spent over 20 years taking care of the St. John’s and St. Peter’s cemeteries in Shennington as well as the Camp Douglas Cemetery. He was a longtime active member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Shennington, serving in many capacities such as treasurer, board member and the youth group. He was a member of the Tomah American Legion and the Wyeville Rod and Gun Club. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and spending winters in Arizona. More than anything he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughters, Tina (Tom) Guenther and Heidi (Kevin) Kemp; grandchildren, Kristina and Justin Becerra and Dylan and Ashley Kemp; sisters, JoAnn Keeney and Anna (Kevin) Krueger; his mother-in-law, Elaine Richards; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cheryl (Steve) Pinnow, Nancy (Pat) Considine, Jeff Richards, Ronnie Richards and Chad (Sonia) Richards; nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Gertrude; his grandparents; a brother, Tommy; a brother-in-law, Alan; father-in-law, Wallace Richards; and a nephew, Jonathan Pinnow."
