Byron Blanchard TAYLOR was born on 26 July 1840 in Perinton Township, Monroe County, NY.10,24,37,39 (He was not listed with his parents in the 1850 Census.) He appeared in the census in 1860 in Benton Township, Berrien County, MI.108 He was living in the household of Charles and Mary Hull. (His name was spelled "Bion.") The Charles and Mary Hull family and the Adeline Hull family are consecutive listings in the census report. The fact that Byron was living with one of the Hull families while his brother Vine was living with the neighboring Hull family may suggest a relationship between the Taylor and Hull families. Byron eventually married two of the daughters of Adeline Hull--the first being Ella, and the second being Mary following Ella's death after the birth of their child. . He served in the military between August 1861 and 1864.37 He served in the Civil War. Byron died on 20 March 1922 at the age of 81 in Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI.10,37 He was buried on 22 March 1922 in Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI.10 in the Morton Hill Cemetery.
