Mary Elizabeth DENSMORE was born on 5 April 1903 in Monroe County, WI.20,23 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.10 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.13 (She was living with his grandfather Hickox at the time of the 1920 Census.) Mary died on 21 November 1992 at the age of 89 in Tunnel City, Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.23

Mary Elizabeth DENSMORE and Albert SCHROEDER were married on 27 April 1921.23 Albert SCHROEDER died in 1979.18

Mary Elizabeth DENSMORE and Albert SCHROEDER had the following children:

Richard Albert SCHROEDER was born on 1 December 1934 in Monroe County, WI.20,39 He died on 21 July 2011 at the age of 76 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.39

Obituary Notes: "Richard A. Schroeder, age 76, Tomah, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011, at his home. He was born Dec. 1, 1934. He served in the United States Army and retired after 20 years in 1976, as a SSG. He served in Korea, Fort Polk, La., Hawaii, Germany and two tours in Vietnam.

After his retirement from the service, he moved back to the Tomah area and worked on the cranberry marsh. He was a member of the Tomah VFW and American Legion. He was a dedicated racecar fan, and you could see him every Saturday night at the West Salem Speedway. He also enjoyed listening and watching NASCAR.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kirby. Pastor Philip Enderle will officiate. Burial with military honors by the VFW Post 1382 will follow at the Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens. Family and friends are invited for visitation Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements."
