(She could not be located in Monroe County in the 1900 Census, although she died there in 1901.) She died on 3 January 1901 at the age of 78 in Oakdale, Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.45,103,105 According to the Death Registration record, she died of "heart disease," which she had suffered for ten years. Pamelia was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.103,106 in the Oak Grove Cemetery. (She also has a gravestone marker in the Ridgeville Methodist Cemetery on Highway A.)

Pamelia DEWEY and Silas Curtis THOMPSON were married on 19 February 1840 in Bainbridge, Ross County, OH.45,102 Silas Curtis THOMPSON, son of Job THOMPSON and Jane E. BURROUGHS, was born on 3 June 1819 in Portage County, OH.66,77,104,107 (He was listed as "Sylvester" in the 1850 Census, and in later years his surname was spelled "Thomson" in the census records.) He appeared in the census in 1840 in Union, Ross County, OH.108 His household consisted of one male, age 20-30 (Silas, age 21); one male, age 5-10 (one of his unknown sons); and one female, age 20-30 (probably Permelia, age 18). He appeared in the census in 1850 in Flora Township, Sauk County, WI.104 His household consisted of Sylvester, age 30; Permelia, age 28; and Allem, age 9. All were born in Ohio, and his occupation was listed as "Farmer." Silas appeared in the census in 1860 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.77 His occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.80 His occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.66 His occupation was "Farmer." Silas died on 18 November 1888 at the age of 69 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.103,107 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.106,107 in the Oak Grove Cemetery. (He also has a gravestone marker in the Ridgeville Methodist Cemetery on Highway A.)
