She appeared in the census in 1870 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.33 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.33 Mary appeared in the census in 1900 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.14,33,34 She and here three children were living in the household of her brother, Joseph. (Her surname is listed as "Harake" in the Ancestry.com census index.) She appeared in the census in 1910 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.33,35 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.33 Mary appeared in the census in 1930 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.15,33 She was living in the household of her brother, J. H. Marburger. She died on 30 July 1954 at the age of 86.5 She was buried in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.5,34,36 in the Wanderer's Rest Cemetery.

Mary L. MARBURGER and Amasa J. Madison DRAKE were married on 25 December 1888 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.17,34 They17,34 were divorced before April 1910 in Monroe County, WI.33,35 Amasa J. Madison DRAKE, son of Amasa DRAKE and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (DRAKE), was born about 1857 in Chemung, Chemung County, NY.34,35,37 He was listed as age 3 in the 1860 Census, as 13 in the 1870, as 23 in the 1880, as 43 in the 1910 (with a birth date of April 1857), and as 47 in the 1910.

According to the 1880 Census, his father and mother were born in New Jersey and Canada, respectively. According to the 1870 and 1910, both of them were born in New York. He appeared in the census in 1860 in Chemung, Chemung County, NY.38 He was listed as "Amasa M." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Chemung, Chemung County, NY.37 (He was listed as "Maddison." Amasa appeared in the census in 1880 in Chemung, Chemung County, NY.39 He was living with his widowed mother and sister and his occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1900 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.15,40 It is not certain that this was him, but the Lincoln Township census contained the listing of "Matteson" Drake, age 42, born April 1857 in New York (with both parents also born in New York), and married for 10 years. Those statistics would have been reasonable for him. It is believed that "Matteson" was a misspelling of "Madison."

He was a "Boarder" in the household of Joseph and Annie McGinnis and his occupation was "Farmer/Laborer." Although he was listed as married, his family was not living with him. He appeared in the census in April 1910 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.35 He was a "Hired Man" in the household of C. M. and Lizzie Moore. His occupation was "Carpenter, House" and he was divorced.
