9. Johann William FABIAN was born on 28 March 1834 in Niederschmalkalden, Sachsen-Meiningen (Saxony), Thuringen (Thuringia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,2,3

(The 1870 Census for Farmington Township, La Crosse County, contained the household of Henry Fabian, age 28, born in Saxony; he may have been a brother of William. Henry's wife was Louisa, age 19, and born in Saxony. There were no children living with them.

The 1870 Census for Farmington Township also contained the household of John Fabian, age 45, born in Germany; he may have been another brother of William. His wife was Amelia, age 44, and born in Germany. Their children were Charles, 14; Augusta, 12; Lilly, 11; Anna, 7; Caroline, 4; and Susie (?), 1. Their children were all born in Wisconsin.)

. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Melrose Township, Jackson County, WI.² His occupation was listed as "Farmer." He died on 27 November 1899 at the age of 65 in Burr Oak, Farmington Township, La Crosse County, WI.^1,4,5 Johann was buried in Burr Oak, Farmington Township, La Crosse County, WI.¹ in the Burr Oak Cemetery.

Johann William FABIAN and Ernestine "Christina" WEYHRAUCH were married in 1862.⁴ Ernestine "Christina" WEYHRAUCH, daughter of Johann Michael WEYHRAUCH and Margarethe Elisabethe MARR, was born on 19 January 1840 in Schwallungen, Sachsen-Meiningen (Saxony) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^6,7 (Her surname is also listed as Wild.) She emigrated in 1861 from Germany.⁵ She appeared in the census in 1880 in Melrose Township, Jackson County, WI.² Christina appeared in the census in 1900 in Melrose Township, Jackson County, WI.⁵ Her household consisted of herself, her daughter Francis and her son August. She died on 14 May 1912 at the age of 72 in Farmington Township, La Crosse County, WI.⁶ She was buried in Burr Oak, Farmington Township, La Crosse County, WI.¹ in the Burr Oak Cemetery.
