30. William H. FERRIES was born in 1860 in Wisconsin.^6,8,9,35 (His gravestone lists his birth year as 1862, but that was an error because he was listed with his parents in the 1860 Census.) He appeared in the census in 1860 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ He appeared in the census in 1870 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ William appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Farm Laborer." He died on 20 December 1895 at the age of 35.³⁵ He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁷ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

William H. FERRIES and Mary HARLAND were married on 1 August 1880 in Monroe County, WI.^35,42 (They may have had a son, Len. A., born 30 Jan 1881 and died 14 Oct 1881. His gravestone is next to William's in the Oak Grove Cemetery. A gravestone for Mary could not be located.) Mary HARLAND was born (date unknown).
