14. Alwine "Alvina" FRIESKE was born on 22 September 1859 in Wisconsin.^10,26,27 (The church confirmation record in the parish register has a question mark next to her date of birth.) She appeared in the census in 1860 in Watertown, Jefferson County, WI.¹³ She was age 9/12 and was listed as "Wilhelmina." She was confirmed on 6 April 1873 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Alvina appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ She was living with her parents and her occupation was "Teaching School." She died on 4 June 1885 at the age of 25.²⁶ She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Alwine "Alvina" FRIESKE and August TEGELBERG were married on 16 March 1881 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.^11,22 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. August TEGELBERG, son of Johann TEGELBERG and Ingrid UNKNOWN (TEGELBERG), died on 30 December 1882.²⁶ He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery. He was born in Sweden.¹¹
