Georg Adam "George" FROHMADER (!) was born on 15 May 1811 in Rothenbach, Kreis Wunsiedel, Oberfranken (Upper Franconia), Bayern (Bavaria) Province, German Confederation.^1,9,15 (He was listed as "George" in the 1860 Census. His age was listed as 44, or possibly 48 or 49, but the writing is not clear. In 1870, his age appears to be 59, but the writing is also not clear.) He emigrated on 9 October 1843 from Bayern (Bavaria) Province, German Confederation.¹⁶ He arrived in New York harbor on the ship "Pauline" He appeared in the census in 1860 in Sullivan Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹⁵ His household was next door to that of his sons, John and Michael. It consisted of George, age 44, "Farmer," born in Germany; his wife, Catherine, age 42, born in Germany; and their youngest son, Henry, age 11, born in Wisconsin. George appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ His household consisted of Adam, Catherine and Henry, 21. He died on 1 February 1876 at the age of 64 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^4,7

Georg Adam "George" FROHMADER (!) and Anna Catharina "Catherine" SCHMIDT (!) were married.^5,16 Anna Catharina "Catherine" SCHMIDT (!), daughter of Erhard SCHMIDT and Eva Catharina SCHRICKER, was born on 10 November 1808 in Bayern (Bavaria) Province, German Confederation.^4,9,15,16 She was listed as 45 in the 1860 Census and as 51 in 1870, so she was probably born about 1817. She appeared in the census in 1860 in Sullivan Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹⁵ She appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ Catherine died on 3 July 1890 at the age of 81 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴

Georg Adam "George" FROHMADER (!) and Anna Catharina "Catherine" SCHMIDT (!) had the following children:

19	i.	Wolfgang John FROHMADER was born on 20 April 1833 in Wurzburg, Unterfranken (Lower Franconia), Bayern (Bavaria) Province, German Confederation.⁴ He died on 22 March 1914 at the age of 80 in Salem, Marion County, OR.⁴ He was buried in Salem, Marion County, OR.⁴ in the City View Cemetery.

Henry John FROHMADER was born on 10 October 1848 in Rome, Jefferson County, WI.^4,9 He appeared in the census in 1860 in Sullivan Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹⁵ He appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ His occupation was listed as "farm laborer." Henry died on 28 October 1913 at the age of 65 in Paw Paw, Van Buren County, MI.⁴ He was buried in Paw Paw, Van Buren County, MI.⁴ in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.
