Frederick GETMAN Sr. was born in 1751 in Montgomery County, NY.2,6 He served in the military about 1776.6 He served in the Revolutionary War. In 1789 he was a Deacon of the Stone Arabia Church, Justice of the Peace for several years, and also an Assemblyman, 1792-1796. He was elected to the New York Senate from 1797-1800. At the beginning of the 1800's, he owned considerable land in Manheim. When the great western turnpike was built, he drove an eight-horse stage. He died on 9 March 1812 at the age of 61 in Jefferson County, NY.2,6 Frederick was buried in Fort Plain, Montgomery County, NY.7 Frederick GETMAN Sr. and Anna Eva FRANK were married.6 Anna Eva FRANK was born in 1752 in Jefferson County, NY.2,6 She died on 31 August 1812 at the age of 60.6 Frederick GETMAN Sr. and Anna Eva FRANK had the following children:
