Peter Frederick GETMAN was born on 17 December 1796 in New York.^16,17 About 1860 he was a farmer in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ He appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ Peter died in 1868 at the age of 72 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Peter Frederick GETMAN and Anna Barbara JOHNSTON were married.¹⁸ Anna Barbara JOHNSTON was born on 24 August 1798 in New York.^16,17 She appeared in the census in 1860 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁶ She died in 1867 at the age of 69 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸
