He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³ Robert died on 15 April 1936 at the age of 79 in Jefferson, Jefferson County, WI.^1,2,4 (He is listed as Robert in the Oak Grove Cemetery records.) He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
