Friedrich Adolph "Fred" GIESLER was born on 13 June 1889 in Monroe County, WI.^2,6,19 He was baptized on 22 July 1889 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ Fred died on 24 October 1968 at the age of 79.⁶ He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friedrich Adolph "Fred" GIESLER and Esther WESTPHAL were married.¹³ Esther WESTPHAL, daughter of Carl Friedrich August WESTPHAL and Bertha Wilhelmina Mathilda DUVIE, was born about 1894 in Wisconsin.¹¹ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹
