His occupation was "farmer." Leonard appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ He died in 1949 at the age of 90.⁴ He was buried in 1949 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

Leonard L. GILLETTE and Lucille Luella WAKEFIELD were married on 30 October 1880 in Monroe County, WI.^1,2,18 Lucille Luella WAKEFIELD, daughter of Lafayette WAKEFIELD and Emily MOORE, was born on 22 June 1862 in Sterling Township, Vernon County, WI.^1,2,4,18 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ She died in 1933 at the age of 71.⁴ Lucille was buried in 1933 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ in the Warren Mills Cemetery.
