Alvin was naturalized on 7 November 1914 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ He was granted his U.S. citizenship at the Circuit Court. He appeared in the census in 1920 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ His occupation was "Farmer, General Farm." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ Alvin died in 1962 at the age of 90.¹⁷ He was buried in 1962 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

Alvin A. GOETZKA and Amanda BIEGEL were married on 15 June 1915.^15,19 Amanda BIEGEL, daughter of Julius BIEGEL and Mathilde SCHLEUSSNER, was born on 14 November 1882 in Preussen (Prussia).¹⁵ She emigrated in 1886 from Preussen (Prussia).^8,14,15 (The 1920 Census listed her emigration year as 1887.)
