Agnes Laura Auguste GOLDBECK was born on 26 July 1888 in Posey Creek, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,4,10,25,26 She appeared in the census in 1900 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ She was living with her parents and her occupation was "Teaching, Common. School." Before 1913 Agnes was a school teacher.¹ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ She appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ Agnes appeared in the census in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁷ She died on 20 January 1981 at the age of 92 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,25,26

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Agnes L. Kuthlow, 92, Tomah, died Tuesday, Jan. 20 in Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Sparta.

She was born July 26, 1888, in Wilton to Christ and Augusta (Kluge) Goldbeck. She married Louis Kuthlow on Aug. 27, 1913. They farmed in the Ridgeville area for many years. In 1948, they retired and moved to Tomah.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Myron (Della) Kortbein of Tomah; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 24, 1969, and by eight brothers and three sisters.

Services were Saturday at 1:30 P.M. in the Ninneman Funeral Home, Tomah. The Rev. Brent Dahlseng officiated." She was buried on 24 January 1981 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^25,28,29 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Agnes Laura Auguste GOLDBECK and Louis Albinus KUTHLOW were married on 27 August 1913 in Winona, Winona County, MN.^1,25,30 Louis Albinus KUTHLOW, son of Ludwig KUTHLOW and Louisa Wilhelmine Caroline ALBRECHT, was born on 1 March 1887 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^{1,10,14,25,31,32,33} He was baptized on 17 April 1887 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He was living with his parents. Louis was confirmed on 20 April 1902 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.³³ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1905 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ He was living with his parents. Between 1912 and 1948 Louis was a farmer in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁷ In addition to their family, their household consisted of August Kuthlow, age 15, a "helper." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ Louis appeared in the census in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁷ His household was at 1709 McLean Avenue and his occupation was "Bottle Sorter, Bottle Factory." He died on 24 December 1969 at the age of 82 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.^1,25,31 He was buried on 27 December 1969 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^25,28,29,31 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
