He appeared in the census in 1900 in Grant Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ Leslie appeared in the census in 1920 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.³ He died on 17 August 1960 at the age of 79.¹¹

Leslie Eugene HART Sr. and Lettie Edith PURDY (`) (~) were married on 25 December 1901 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.^13,14,15 Lettie Edith PURDY (`) (~), daughter of John James PURDY and Mary Elizabeth OAKLEY, was born on 14 December 1884 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^15,16 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.³ She died on 8 July 1976 at the age of 91 in Oshkosh, Winnebago County, WI.^15,16
