Gustave, age 14. Edward was the son of Minna, and was born out of wedlock before she and Louis married. Louis appeared in the census in 1900 in Lewiston Township, Columbia County, WI.3 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Lewiston Township, Columbia County, WI.4 He died on 18 June 1912 at the age of 60.2 Ludwig W. "Louis" HEINZE Sr. and Minna "Minnie" FREITAG were married on 22 January 1878.2,3,4 According to the 1900 Census, they had 10 children, of which 9 were still living. The 1910 Census indicated that they had 9 children, of which 8 were still living.
