Louie appeared in the census in 1920 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴ His surname was listed as "Heinz" and his household was next to the household of Rollie and Mattie (Griggs) Vandervort. He appeared in the census in 1930 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁵ He died on 2 April 1975 at the age of 79 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.^12,16 (His obituary does not indicate his date of death--only that he was 79 years old.)
