Descendants of James Howie
James Howie and his wife, Elizabeth, were born in Scotland in about 1800.
Their son, Robert Howie, Sr., emigrated to America in 1856 and accompanied Robert E. Gillette to Wisconsin, where the latter founded the city of Tomah.
