Joseph Francis "Frank" KLIMA1 was born on 14 February 1853 in Milevsko, Pisek District, South Bohemian Region, Bohemia (Czech Republic).2,4,8 (The 1880 Census listed his birth place as Bohemia and the 1900 listed it as Austria. Also, the 1880 Census listed his surname as "Klemer" and the 1900 as "Klima.")

. He emigrated in 1867 from Bohemia (Czech Republic).4,9 (The 1900 Census listed his emigration year as 1867, and the 1910 as 1873.)

(He cannot be located in the 1870 Census.)

. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Baltimore (City), MD.2,10 His household was at 131 North Chahee (?) Street in the 1st Ward and his occupation was "Blacksmith." His surname was listed as "Klemer."

Living with him were his wife, Mary, age 26; their children Mary, 3, and James 9 months; his mother, Rosa, age 60; his sister, Mary, age 20; and his brother James, age 34, his wife, Barbara, 34, and their daughter, Barbara, 3, and son, James, 2.

. Frank appeared in the census in 1900 in Baltimore (City), MD.4 His household was at 211 Rose Street in the 7th Ward and his occupation was "Tailor." He died on 7 July 1902 at the age of 49 in Baltimore (City), MD.8,11,12 (He was not listed with his wife in the 1920 Census and she was listed as a Widow in 1930.)

. He appeared in the census in 1910 in Baltimore (City), MD.9 His household was at 28 South Durham (?) Street in the 2nd Ward and his occupation was "Blacksmith, Wagon Work."

Joseph Francis "Frank" KLIMA and Barbara Mary "Rosa" PAZOUREK were married on 3 May 1875 in Baltimore (City), MD.2,4,13 at St. Wenceslaus Roman Catholic Church.

According to the 1900 Census, they had been married for 25 years and had 3 children, of whom all were living at the time.

. Barbara Mary "Rosa" PAZOUREK2,14,15 was born in 1838 in Milevsko, Pisek District, South Bohemian Region, Bohemia (Czech Republic).1,2,5,16,17 She emigrated about 1866 from Bohemia (Czech Republic).4 (The 1900 Census for her son Frank listed Frank's emigration year as 1867; the same record for her son James listed it as 1865. So it is assumed that the family emigrated together.)
. She appeared in the census in 1880 in Baltimore (City), MD.2,4 She was living with her son Frank and his family and she was listed as "Rosa Klemer."

(She cannot be located in the 1860, 1870 or 1900 Census.)

. Rosa died on 30 August 1906 at the age of 68 in Baltimore (City), MD.3,5 (She was listed as "Rosa" in the 1880 Census.)
