She appeared in the census in 1930 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.24 She died on 11 September 2004 at the age of 95 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.31 Obituary Notes: "Margaret Caroline Klinge, 95, of Tomah and Sparta, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta. She was born on June 24, 1909, to William and Bertha (Guthrie) Wallace at Oakdale, WI. She graduated from Tomah High School and later received a teaching certificate from New Lisbon Normal. She married Alfred Henry Klinge on June 17, 1933, in Milwaukee. Alfred preceded her in death in 1958. After her husband's death, she completed her teaching degree requirements at LaCrosse State College and moved to Racine, where she taught third grade. She had previously taught in the Tomah School District for 13 years. She retired in 1974 after 30 years of teaching and returned to Tomah where she resided until entering Morrow Memorial Home in 1998. She is survived by a son, David (Judith) of Boise, ID; two daughters, Judith (James) Egan of Arlington, TX, Mary (Edward) Vanderwall of Steamboat Springs, CO; nine grandchildren, Dana (Karen) Vanderwall, Christopher Vanderwall, Maribeth (Richard) Beaudoin, Brian (Carrie) Egan, Matthew Egan, Amy (Paul) Mazeika, John (Robin Barber) Klinge, Joseph (Christina) Klinge and James Klinge; 10 great-grandchildren, Caroline, Guthrie, Coby and Paige Vanderwall; Erin and William Beaudoin; Caitlin and Conor Egan; Andrew and Aaron Klinge; sister-in-law Norma Klinge of Madison; and three nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gerald and Arthur, and a sister Minnie. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave, Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah.
