Ernst Theodore "Ernest" KRAUSE was born on 2 March 1874 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).^1,3,10 He was confirmed on 14 July 1889 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He died in 1935 at the age of 61.¹ Ernest was buried in 1935 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Ernst Theodore "Ernest" KRAUSE and Emilie ARNDT were married in 1904 in Gay Hill, Washington County, TX.^1,11 Emilie ARNDT was born in 1883.⁵ She died in 1951 at the age of 68.¹ She was buried in 1951 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Church Cemetery.
