14. George J. KUCKUCK was born on 6 April 1871 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,9,12,13,43 He appeared in the census in 1875 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.² George served in the military about 1898 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁴ as a Corporal in Company K of the 3rd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. His unit served in Puerto Rico, leaving on April 28th, 1898 and returning home on September 18th, 1898. The unit was based in the Winnebago County area of Wisconsin. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ He was living in the household of his sister Minnie and her husband Andrew Freemore. He appeared in the census in 1905 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁵ His occupation was "Railroad Fireman." George lived at his home in Illinois in January 1915.¹³ He died on 27 August 1926 at the age of 55 in Spring Valley, Bureau County, IL.^12,43 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,43 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

George J. KUCKUCK and Elizabeth Louise "Lizzie" BRAMAN were married on 19 June 1903 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^21,43,46 in the Methodist Episcopal Church. Elizabeth Louise "Lizzie" BRAMAN, daughter of Roswell Emerson BRAMAN and Chloe Zerviah SPOONER, was born on 4 June 1862 in Wisconsin.^2,43 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She appeared in the census in 1905 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁵ She and her two daughters from her first marriage were living with her second husband, George Kuckuck. Elizabeth died on 15 May 1946 at the age of 83 in Rockford, Rockford Township, Winnebago County, IL.⁴³ She was buried on 18 May 1946 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,43 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
