She died on 24 January 2011 at the age of 70 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.352 Obituary Notes: "Louise Caroline Schleusener nee Pingel of Tomah, WI, entered heaven on January 24, 2011 with her husband at her bedside. Louise was born October 24, 1940 to George and Bertha (Schueman) Pingel in Sparta, Wisconsin. She was baptized on November 10, 1940, and confirmed on May 1, 1954 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tomah. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Tomah, moving on to Martin Luther High School in New Ulm, MN. After high school, she attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. Louise returned to Tomah to teach grade school. She met Stanley Schleusener and they were married in Oct. 3, 1964. They resided in Tomah on the family farm until 1986. Louise and Stanley moved into town on December 31, 1986. She is remembered for serving her Lord as a church organist, church librarian, faithful mother and wife, and was also involved in Jesus Cares Ministry. Louise is survived by her husband of 46 years, Stanley of Tomah, and five children - Lynelle of San Jose, CA, Allen (Chanda) of Arden Hills, MN, Jean of Altoona, WI, David (Beth) of Cary, NC, and Bill (Kelly) of Tomah, WI. nine grandchildren - Linka, Liesl, Matthew, Noah, Luke, Kyla, Malia, Josiah, and Selah, her mother-in-law, Leona Schleusener of Sparta, a brother, Arthur Pingel of Sabin, MN many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave., Tomah. Pastor David T. Brandt will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Relatives and Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Sonnenburg Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. The family requests that memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Library or the Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society in Louise’s name." .
