Descendants of Christian Friedrich Marten

Christian Friedrich Marten and his wife, Dorothea "Maria" Teu, were both born in the early-1800’s in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Province of Prussia. They had four daughters, and emigrated to America with them in the 1850’s.

They lived first in Germantown in Washington County and then settled in Tomah Township. The girls married into the Marten, Schroeder, Behrens and Wappler families.
