Dennis PETH was born on 17 January 1953 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.54 He died on 20 July 2025 at the age of 72 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.54 Obituary Notes: "Dennis D. Peth, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away, peacefully in his sleep, on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in his hometown of Tomah, WI, where he was also born on January 17, 1953 to DeVere and Shirley (Lawrenz) Peth.

Dennis graduated from Tomah High School in 1971, and his passion for cooking led him to an early start in the culinary world. His talent and dedication to his craft saw him work at several esteemed establishments, including Jermoo's in Oakdale, Port O'Call on Castle Rock Lake, and eventually Burnstad's European Café in Tomah, where he impressed patrons with his culinary creations. He also loved cooking for many family and friends at Kingdom Hall builds over many years.

The most important decision that Dennis made was dedicating his life to Jehovah in 1966. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he served as an elder for many years in the Congregation. He found great joy volunteering his time and talking to people about his Bible-based hope.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Patricia, and their children, Heath and Jessica; their 3 grandsons; and his siblings, DeAnne Williams, Sandy (Mark) Cillis, Bruce (Kathy) Peth, Karen Miller, and Jadrienne (Jon) Rauvola. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, brother Randy, brothers-in-law Curtis Williams and Michael Miller, and many loving family members.

In recognition of Patty's allergy to fresh flowers – and in remembrance of Dennis, who always chose chocolates instead – the family respectfully requests potted plants, silk flowers, or monetary gifts.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2091 W Wisconsin St, Sparta, WI 54656. Family and friends are invited for a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements."
