Alexander "Alex" MCCASKEY was born on 26 October 1840 in Little Beaver Township, Lawrence County, PA.¹ Between 1887 and 1892 he was a postmaster in Monroe County, WI.² Between 1898 and 1901 he was a surveyor in Monroe County, WI.² Alex died on 2 September 1911 at the age of 70 in Monroe County, WI.^1,2

Alexander "Alex" MCCASKEY and Susan CANNEY were married.^2,3 Susan CANNEY was born in 1849.² She died in 1886 at the age of 37.²

Alexander "Alex" MCCASKEY and Susan CANNEY had the following children:
