Descendants of Friedrich Gottfried Mittelstaedt

Friedrich Gottfried Mittelstaedt and his wife, Anna Katherina "Kate" Schmalz, were born in the Posen Province of Prussia in the early-1800's. They were the parents of seven children, all of whom are believed to have emigrated to America in about 1870.

Friedrich and Kate are believed to be the ancestors of many of the Mittelstaedt families in Monroe County.
