He appeared in the census in 1900 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ He died on 10 March 1990 at the age of 96 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.^48,52 Otto was buried on 14 March 1990 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^48,52,62 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Otto Herman F. NEAS and Therese Emma SOMMERFIELD were married before 1917.² Therese Emma SOMMERFIELD, daughter of Gustav Adolph Johann Rudolph SOMMERFELDT and Auguste Albertine Bertha Emilia WESTPHAL, was born on 20 January 1898 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^25,62,63 (According to the 1900 Census, her birth date was October 1897; according to the church baptism records, that was an error.) She was baptized on 27 February 1898 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶³ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵ Therese appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² She died on 16 September 1917 at the age of 19.⁶² She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶² in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
