She was buried in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Wanderer's Rest Cemetery. However, the research of Sandy Noth indicates that they had seven (all listed below except Ernestine and Elizabeth). "During an epidemic of diptheria, Ernestine and four of her children died in 1880 or 1881. All are buried on Wanderer's Rest Cemetery, Sheldon Township, Norwalk, Wisconsin. Henry A. continued to live on the farm and died there 23 March 1897. He was also buried in Wanderer's Rest Cemetery." . He emigrated about 1855 from Detmold, Kreis Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine Westphalia) Province, Preussen (Prussia).2 "He and his wife emigrated in the 1850's and settled on a farm about two and one-half miles north of the village of Norwalk, Wisconsin, in the Township of Ridgeville. The farm was quite large and is now (1991) owned by Duane and Violet Sletten. Ernestine's brother Anton was about 4 1/2 miles from them, but 2 miles south of Norwalk." . Henry appeared in the census in 1870 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.9 His household consisted of Henry, age 48, occupation "Farmer;" his wife "Ernstinna," age 42; and their children, Minnie, age 15; Elizabeth, age 13; Mary, age 11; Henry, age 10; "Hellen, age 8; "Louis," age 5; and "Millie," age 1. The birth places of Henry and his wife were listed as "Prussia," and those of the children as Wisconsin. Also living in his household was his mother-in-law, Wilhelmina Noth. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.6 He died on 23 March 1897 at the age of 75 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.2,8,20 Henry was buried in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Wanderer's Rest Cemetery.
