Wilhelm Friedrich "William" AFFELDT was born on 17 July 1850 in Preussen (Prussia).¹ He emigrated in 1865 from Preussen (Prussia).⁵ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Fillmore Township, Fillmore County, MN.⁶ William appeared in the census in 1900 in Fillmore Township, Fillmore County, MN.⁵ His household was located near that of his brother Herman and his occupation was "Farmer."

Wilhelm Friedrich "William" AFFELDT and Emma "Annie" UNKNOWN (AFFELDT) were married about 1867.⁵ Emma "Annie" UNKNOWN (AFFELDT) was born in June 1855 in Wisconsin.⁵ She appeared in the census in 1880 in Fillmore Township, Fillmore County, MN.⁶ She appeared in the census in 1900 in Fillmore Township, Fillmore County, MN.⁵
