Descendants of Karl Bogislov Affeldt
Karl Bogislov “Charles” Affeldt was born in Prussia in 1812. He and his wife, Wilhelmine Wendt, were the parents of eight children, most of whom emigrated to America and settled in Minnesota and North Dakota.
One of their sons, Karl Friedrich Wilhelm “Charles” Affeldt, married Anna “Louise” Zellmer. They lived first in Dodge County, WI, and then settled in Ridgeville Township in Monroe County.
Their children married into the Brehmer, Kuhn and Zellmer families in the late 1890’s.
