117. Sanford WHITE was born on 4 December 1812 in Roxbury Township, Delaware County, NY.^4,36 (According to the LDS Family Group Record, he may have been born in Red Kill, NY.) He appeared in the census in 1850 in Scott Township, Luzerne County, PA.⁷⁶ He appeared in the census in 1860 in Scott Township, Luzerne County, PA.¹³³ Sanford appeared in the census in 1870 in Scott Township, Luzerne County, PA.¹³⁴ He died on 22 May 1873 at the age of 60.^4,36

Sanford WHITE and Elmina MILLER were married before 1835.³⁶ They had 12 children. Elmina MILLER was born about 1815 in Pennsylvania.⁷⁶ She appeared in the census in 1850 in Scott Township, Luzerne County, PA.⁷⁶ She appeared in the census in 1860 in Scott Township, Luzerne County, PA.¹³³ (Her name was listed as "Almira.")
