Descendants of John Tilley, Sr.


John Tilley, Sr. was one of the approximately 100 passengers on the voyage of the Mayflower from Plymouth, England, to Plymouth in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, in 1620.

He traveled to the New World with his wife, Joan, daughter Elizabeth, and his brother, Edward. He was 48 years old at the time of the voyage and he and his wife died during the first winter in the Plymouth Colony.

He was the 16th signer of the Mayflower Compact.
