Larue Elhanon "Larry" RICHARDSON Sr.⁴⁸ was born on 27 November 1851 in Beaver Dam, Beaver Dam Township, Dodge County, WI.^127,128 According to family history, his full given name was "Loracious Alhannan." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Leon Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸⁵ He appeared in the census in 1880 in Codington County, SD.¹²⁹ He was listed as "Larene," age 28, married, and born in Wisconsin. (At the time of the census, Codington County was the Dakota Territory.) Larry died in 1929 at the age of 78 in South Dakota.¹²⁹ He was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Watertown, Codington County, SD.¹²⁸ (His given name may have been "Lorne.")

Family history has it that Mary got tired of Lerue and his 'evil' ways and packed the kids up and moved to California sometime after World War I. Mary K. OHLER, daughter of Louis OHLER and Francis REICHERT, was born about 1861 in New Jersey.¹²⁹ She appeared in the census in 1880 in Codington County, SD.¹²⁹ At the time of the census, it was the Dakota Territory.
