180. John WHITE Sr. was born on 15 February 1719 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, MA.^24,31 He died on 19 July 1797 at the age of 78 in Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY.³¹

John WHITE Sr. and Tabitha ELLIS were married about 1752 in Dutchess County, NY.^31,42,43,44 (They may have married in Harwich, Barnstable County, MA.) Tabitha ELLIS, daughter of Jacob ELLIS and Elizabeth FOSTER, was born on 19 February 1731/2 in Harwich, Barnstable County, MA.⁴² She died on 7 February 1810 at the age of 77 in Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY.⁴²

John WHITE Sr. and Tabitha ELLIS had the following children:

272	i.	John WHITE Jr. was born about 1745.^36,42,45 (He may have been the John White that married Margaret Ogden and had a son, David White. There is a dispute among the researchers of the Mayflower Descendants as to the parents of this John White. It is doubtful that he was a son of John White and Tabitha Ellis because Tabitha was born in 1731/32 and he was born in abt 1745. Also, John and Tabitha were married abt 1752. The White Family Genealogy on Ancestry.com reports that John and Tabitha had a son named John that was born in 1752.)
