Tabitha ELLIS, daughter of Jacob ELLIS and Elizabeth FOSTER, was born on 19 February 1731/2 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.⁴⁹ She died on 7 February 1810 at the age of 78 in Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY.⁴⁹

There is a dispute among the researchers of the Mayflower Descendants as to the parents of this John White. It is doubtful that he was a son of John White and Tabitha Ellis because Tabitha was born in 1731/32 and he was born in abt 1745. Also, John and Tabitha were married abt 1752. The White Family Genealogy on Ancestry.com reports that John and Tabitha had a son named John that was born in 1752.)
