Descendants of William White

William White was one of the approximately 100 passengers on the voyage of the Mayflower from Plymouth, England, to Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America in 1620.

He was about 29 years old at the time of the voyage, and is believed to have been born in Holland, where the Pilgrims lived prior to their voyage to the New World. But he may have been born in England.

He was accompanied on the voyage by his wife Susanna and their son, Resolved. A second son, Peregrine, was born in Plymouth Harbor before the Mayflower landed, and he is considered to be the first Pilgrim child born in America.

William was the 11th of the 42 signers of the Mayflower Compact.
