He was christened on 20 May 1705 in Danvers, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.20 About 1720 he was a joiner in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.8 On 29 July 1720, Joseph White, of Salem, joiner, and wife Beatrix sold land at Salem and Boxford. On 12 Jan 1725/26, Joseph White, joiner, and wife Beatrix of Hutchinson's Farm, near Sutton, sold land in Hutchinson's Farm. On 9 April 1750, Joseph White of Sutton, joiner, deeded land in Sutton to Josiah White, Jr., joiner, and Joseph White, Jr. Joseph died on 20 December 1750 at the age of 68 in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.2,8,33 He signed a will on 27 July 1753.8 On 20 Dec 1750, Sarah (Gardner) White, widow, and eldest son Jonathan consented to sons Joseph and Josiah, Jr., as administrators of the estate of Joseph White. In the order to divide the estate of Joseph White of Sutton, yeoman, dated 27 July 1753, Josiah White of Sutton was to pay brothers Jonathan, Joseph and John, and sisters Mary, Abigail, wife of Jonathan Church, and Sarah, wife of Ebenezer Brown. He has Ancestral File Number 1MXQ-HRL.2 Joseph has Ancestral File Number HMV8-H6.2

Joseph WHITE Sr. (*) (~) and Beatrix HOUGHTON (*) were married on 31 August 1711 in Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.2,8,28 Beatrix HOUGHTON (*), daughter of Robert HOUGHTON and Esther LEFFINGWELL, was born on 3 November 1685 in Lancaster, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.2,28,34 She died on 12 January 1726 at the age of 40.2,34 She has Ancestral File Number VHFB-81.2
