Hannah BACON and Elihu Cummings SABIN were married on 18 April 1770 in Pomfret Township, Windham County, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America.^8,47 Elihu Cummings SABIN, son of Samuel DANA and Martha SABIN, was born on 6 December 1749.³⁴ He served in the military about 1776.³⁴ During the War of the Revolution, he was "wounded at Bunker Hill in the leg, which wound troubled him the rest of his life." He appeared in the census in 1790 in Pomfret Township, Windham County, CT.⁴⁶ His household consisted of 1 male, age 16 or more; 2 males, under age 16; and 3 females. Elihu died on 10 November 1828 at the age of 78.³⁴
