48. Josiah WHITE Jr. was born before 1687. He was baptized on 20 May 1705 in Salem Village (now Danvers), Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.⁸ as an adult. He died between 26 August 1761 and 13 August 1764 at the age of 74 in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.⁸ Josiah signed a will on 26 August 1761 in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.⁸ The will of Josiah White of Sutton, yeoman, "far advanced in age," filed 13 Aug 1764, names his son Caleb and daughter mary white; they were to care for their brother, Josiah, an idiot. The executor was Josiah White, Jr., a nephew.

Josiah WHITE Jr. and Mary TAYLOR were married on 28 April 1737 in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America.⁸ This may be the same Mary Taylor as #3353. Mary TAYLOR, daughter of Thomas TAYLOR and Mary UNKNOWN (TAYLOR), was born on 25 June 1708 in Reading, Middlesex County, MA.²⁴

Josiah WHITE Jr. and Mary TAYLOR had the following children:

126	i.	Josiah WHITE III (1st) was born on 8 July 1738 in Sutton, Worcester County, MA.²⁴ He died young.
127	ii.	Mary WHITE was born on 8 July 1741 in Sutton, Worcester County, MA.²⁴
128	iii.	Josiah WHITE III (2nd) was born on 1 April 1745 in Sutton, Worcester County, MA.²⁴ He was still living 19 Nov 1787 and described as an "idiot" when Thomas Parker asked that a guardian be appointed.
129	iv.	Caleb WHITE was born on 31 July 1747 in Sutton, Worcester County, MA.²⁴
