Services at The Kirkley Funeral Home, 421 Crain Highway SE, Glen Burnie, on Saturday, March 2, at 11 A.M. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Visiting hours 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M." She was buried.⁴

Esther Leona ACREE and Karl August "Carl" BERGMAN were married about 1925.^601,615 According to the 1930 Census, at the time of their marriage he was 26 years old and she was 16. Karl August "Carl" BERGMAN, son of August Fredrik BERGMAN and Anna Matilda STENBERG, was born on 29 January 1900 in Pitea Landsforsamlingen Parish, Norrbotten County, Sweden.^601,735 He emigrated in 1919 from Sweden.⁶⁰¹ He appeared in the census in 1930 in Baltimore (Independent City), MD.⁶⁰¹ His household was at 1738 Clarkson Street and his occupation was "Chemist, Chemical Works."
Carl died on 21 February 1940 at the age of 40 in Maryland.^735,736 Obituary Notes: "On February 21, 1940, Carl A., of 1625 Cereal Street, aged 35 years, beloved husband of Esther L. Bergman (nee Acree). Funeral services at the William Cook Mansion, St. Paul and Preston streets, on Saturday at 11 A.M. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park." He was buried.⁷⁹
