Descendants of George Prell, Sr.

George Prell, Sr., was born in 1822 in Bavaria. He emigrated to America in 1846, and his eventual wife, Anna "Elizabeth" Wunderleicht, emigrated three years later. They are believed to have had their oldest son in Bavaria before they emigrated.

They married in Milwaukee, had nine more children in various parts of Wisconsin, and eventually settled in Oakdale.

Some of their children and their descendants married Monroe County families such as Batten, Blaschke, Brookman, Habelman, Kuderer, Purdy, Von Haden, and Wolfgram.
