Ida Juliana PREUSS and Frank John SCHOLZ were married on 24 September 1902 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,16,17 Their witnesses were Martha Preuss, one of her sisters, and Michael Sikaski.

There is a listing in the 1920 Census of Clifton Township for a widow named Ida Schulz, age 40, born in Wisconsin, with both parents born in Germany. She had 5 children, ages 1 to 19, and her occupation was "Merchant, General Store." That may have been her. Frank John SCHOLZ, son of John SCHOLZ and Weilert SIKASKI, was born about 1872 in Illinois.^17,34 He appeared in the census in 1910 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.³⁴ His household was at 1522 Pine Street and his occupation was "Mason, Buildings."
