Gustav Herman "Gus" PREUSS was born on 30 May 1895 in Wonewoc Township, Juneau County, WI.^2,3 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Wonewoc Township, Juneau County, WI.³ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Plymouth Township, Juneau County, WI.⁴ (He was living as "Gusta," a daughter, age 14.) Gus appeared in the census in 1920 in Plymouth Township, Juneau County, WI.⁵ He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Farm Laborer." He appeared in the census in 1930 in Plymouth Township, Juneau County, WI.⁶ His household was next to that of his brother Harry, and his occupation was "Farmer, General Farm." He died on 19 January 1977 at the age of 81 in Elroy, Plymouth Township, Juneau County, WI.²

Gustav Herman "Gus" PREUSS and May E. KOPENHAFER were married about 1921.^6,7,8,9 May E. KOPENHAFER was born about 1903 in Wisconsin.⁶ She appeared in the census in 1930 in Plymouth Township, Juneau County, WI.⁶
